Gordon B. Clark, MD, FACOG.

Dr. Gordon Clark is an expert in the metabolic management and reversal of obesity, diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia and specializes in maximizing exercise performance for athletes as well as reversal of polycystic ovaries in women with this disorder.  He is  Board Certified not only by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology but also the American Board of Bariatric Medicine

Dr. Clark graduated from the University of Kansas as well as the University of Kansas Medical School.   He then completed his Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Hospital San Diego.  He served in the United States Navy for 7 years, teaching ob/gyn and Family Practice residents before returning to his Midwest roots.  He served as the Medical Director of the Diagnostic Breast Center at Truman Medical Center while training University of Missouri Kansas City residents in General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology with a focus on a holistic  approach to medicine.

His additional interest in incorporating  Cosmetic services and specifically liposculpting procedures was a logical extension of his extensive training combining his surgical subspecialty and his medical subspecialty.   As the former Director of the Breast Clinic, he is uniquely qualified to perform successful Natural Breast Augmentation which is currently performed by fewer than 20 surgeons in the United States in addition to other Natural Fat Transfer procedures which provide for permanent dermal fillers

Dr. Clark is a member of the American College of Obstetrics, American Board of Bariatric Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists, American Association of Bariatric Physicians, Society of Aesthetic Injectors and the Kansas City Gynecologic Society.

Dr. Clark owns and operates Modern Dermatology and Aesthetics as well as Women’s and Family Care located in Shawnee, Kansas.
